PRETOX SYSTEM | GENTLE TOXIN DRAINAGE + CLEARING
Pretox System is a gentle drainage of toxins. In our heavily industrialized world, detoxification is a necessary part of optimal wellness and there are many benefits to making this part of a regular health routine. However, engaging in a formal detoxification program can be intimidating at first, especially for those who are new to detox, have delicate systems, complex health issues, or have had negative reactions with previous detoxes.
“Drainage” is a term historically used by the European Biomedical systems to describe a process of using herbal extracts and/or homeopathics to gently increase lymphatic, bile, and urinary flow to clear circulating toxins and help revitalize “stuck” or “blocked” organs of elimination. These gentle detoxification methods support the clearance of those toxins already in circulation without stimulating the movement of stored toxins from cells and tissues.
Quicksilver has adopted this drainage methodology for the PreTox System protocol using the herbal-based Bitter X and Kidney Care formulations for bile production, lymphatic flow, and urinary clearance. Vitamin C is included as an antioxidant for free-radical quenching without pushing cellular detox the way supplemental glutathione might. Finally, Membrane Mend™ brings nourishing phosphatidylcholine (PC) to support bile flow and help rebuild cell membranes and the fat-soluble antioxidants astaxanthin and tocotrienols to fortify them.
None of our detoxification protocols are complete without binding agents. Included in the PreTox System is our Ultra Binder® Sensitive Formula to effectively “catch” the mobilized contaminants in the GI tract for their final removal from the body.
This gentle detoxification protocol can be used as a stand-alone drainage and clearing detox, or as a place to start when preparing the body for one of our more comprehensive detox programs.

Bitter X
This proprietary blend of four bitter herbs is Quicksilver Scientific’s bigger, detox-focused bitter. This whole-body tonic places a stronger emphasis on bile flow and quickly supports momentum in the GI tract, liver, kidneys, and gallbladder with potent bitters: dandelion, gentian, solidago, and myrrh.* Sweet orange essential oil is added for flavor and it can have a calming, uplifting effect.
Kidney Care
Kidney Care was developed to intentionally target the health and regeneration of the kidneys*. Our proprietary blend of botanicals and nutraceuticals includes Astragaloside IV extract, Zhu Ling, Goldenrod, Dandelion Leaf, He Shou Wu root, Fu Ling, and Ferulic Acid to support healthy kidney function, drainage, and improved detoxification.*
Membrane Mend™
Modern life is rife with factors that compromise cell membranes, also referred to as “the brain of the cell.” Without healthy, intact membranes, this can lead to whole-body dysfunction. This daily formula includes Phosphatidyl Choline (PC) a master cell fortifier, vitamin E, and an age-defying antioxidant – all working together to promote the health of membranes throughout the body.*
Vitamin C
A quintessential vitamin for immune and detox support. Our liposomal delivery bypasses the typical absorption constraints in the gut, delivering this nutrient directly to the cells for rapid uptake. Our buffered form of vitamin C is tested Non-GMO and is known to be gentler and better tolerated by those with gastrointestinal sensitivity.†
Ultra Binder® Sensitive Formula
Ultra Binder® Sensitive is a gentle yet effective version of our immensely popular Ultra Binder®. Ultra Binder® Sensitive Formula targets environmental toxins (heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, hormone mimics, food additives, mold and microbial toxins) with an optimized blend of zeolite, bentonite clay, activated charcoal, and chitosan along with soothing aloe vera. It does not contain the IMD® mercury-binding complex found in our signature Ultra Binder®, and is suitable for more sensitive individuals.*
Recommended Dosing of Pretox System Products
BitterX– Take 2 pumps. Hold in mouth 30 seconds before swallowing. Repeat to desired dosage or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take on an empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals. Use within 60 days of opening. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your physician before use.
Membrane Mend™– Take 1 teaspoon by mouth twice daily. Hold in mouth 30 seconds before swallowing. Repeat to desired dosage or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take on an empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals. Use within 60 days of opening. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your physician before use.
Kidney Care– Take 1 teaspoon by mouth. Hold in mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing. Repeat to desired dosage or as directed by a healthcare professional. Best taken on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before meals. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your healthcare practitioner before use.
Liposomal Vitamin C– Take 1 teaspoon by mouth. Hold in mouth 30 seconds before swallowing. Repeat to the desired dosage or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take an empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your physician before use. Use within 60 days of opening.
Ultra Binder® Sensitive– Mix 1 rounded teaspoon into 8 ounces of water once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals or medications. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult a physician before use.
IF TAKING OTHER MEDICATIONS, PLEASE READ:
Because Ultra Binder® contains activated charcoal and other substances which may affect the absorption of medications, it should be taken at least two hours before or after prescription medications.
