Microneedling and PRP consultations
Microneedling uses a device with fine needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. In some consultations, PRP—prepared from a patient’s own blood—may be discussed as part of an individualized aesthetic plan. We review skin history, current products, timing, possible downtime, risks, alternatives, and aftercare before any procedure.
Microneedling may not be appropriate for every person or every skin concern. A consultation is the right place to discuss whether it is suitable for you.
Scar-focused consultations
Scar appearance and symptoms can vary widely based on location, age of the scar, skin type, prior treatment, and health history. During a scar-focused consultation, we discuss your concerns, examine the area when appropriate, and review options, limitations, risks, and whether referral to another clinician may be appropriate.
Procedural recommendations are made only after an individualized assessment and informed-consent discussion.
Hair-focused PRP consultations
For people concerned about hair thinning or shedding, a consultation may include a review of the pattern and timeline of changes, medical history, medications, and prior evaluation. PRP may be discussed as one possible procedural option. When needed, we may recommend additional evaluation or referral so that concerns receive appropriate assessment.
