Description
Camu Camu Vitamin C is contained in a proprietary nanosphere liposome that bypasses the digestive system and is absorbed into the small intestine immune cells and within the Peyer’s patches (known as GALT) where a target-directed ionic ligand delivers the small intestines lymphatic, immune cells to their optimal sites without having to go through the first pass of the liver.*
Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is the name of an exceptionally significant botanical bush that grows in the Amazonian rain forests of Peru. This bush produces a berry that contains many powerful phytochemicals, amino acids serine, valine, and leucine, and more concentrated natural Vitamin C than any other known botanical worldwide. As the berries are part of a whole plant, they present minerals and other nutrients that make them more digestible and bio-available. The wild berries are hand-harvested at the height of their ripeness, flash-frozen, and placed into a freezer boat, where it is then taken to a small processing plant where it is thawed, peeled, and sun-dried.
The power of Vitamin C in all forms is indisputable. This is particularly true of our camu camu sourced botanical Vitamin C, which we have created in a nanosphere liposome formula, complete with synergistically supportive natural factors.
Vitamin C supports the production of interferons. Interferons are produced when the presence of pathogens are detected. They facilitate the ability of cells to launch protective cellular defenses.
Vitamin C enhances the function of phagocytes. Once the invaders are captured in this manner, they are enzymatically digested.
Vitamin C concentrates in white blood cells. Some of the primary cells in the immune system concentrate Vitamin C as much as 80 times higher than the level in plasma. This assures extra delivery of Vitamin C to the sites of infection by the migration of these Vitamin C-rich white blood cells
Proprietary nanosphere liposome dramatically increases absorption and assimilation rates equivalent to 5 grams—without bowel tolerance concerns.
